This adorable little lady has a gorgeous marbled black-and-white, non-shedding coat that's as unique as her personality. At just under 12 pounds, she's perfectly sized for lap-adjacent lounging (she prefers to snuggle next to you rather than on you), leisurely neighborhood strolls, and being your very own tiny shadow. From Timid to Trusting When Bunny first arrived in foster care, the world felt like a scary place. She spent her first couple of days pacing the house, unsure where she belonged. Her tail stayed tucked, treats didn't interest her, and being left alone made her anxious. Fast forward a few weeks, and the transformation has been nothing short of magical. Now she greets her people with a wagging tail, zooms around the house and backyard, happily trots over for pets and scratches, and has discovered that sofas are pretty wonderful places to nap. She no longer worries when left home alone and patiently waits by the door until her family returns. Watching Bunny learn to trust has been one of those priceless foster moments that reminds you just how resilient dogs can be. Professional Sidekick Bunny doesn't believe you should ever have to be alone if she can help it. Working in the office? She'll nap nearby. Cooking dinner? She's supervising from the kitchen. Watching TV? She's claimed the cushion next to you. Even bathroom breaks aren't meant to be solo adventures. Close the door, and chances are you'll see her little nose peeking underneath, faithfully waiting for your return. She's the definition of a velcro dog—but once you're settled, she's perfectly content curling up in a dog bed, stretching out on the cool floor, or snoozing beside you while you go about your day. Easygoing Companion Bunny enjoys a predictable routine. She wakes up with the family between 7 and 8 a.m., enjoys breakfast alongside everyone else, and heads out for a leisurely morning walk. Evenings are much the same: dinner around 6 p.m. followed by another stroll before winding down for the night. She's not looking to train for a marathon. Bunny is much more interested in sniffing every interesting smell, taking life at her own pace, and occasionally breaking out into adorable zoomies just because she's feeling happy. Polite Little Lady Bunny is wonderfully mannered on leash. She walks without pulling, frequently checks in with her person, and enjoys taking in the sights and smells. Squirrels are definitely exciting, and she'll occasionally bark when spotting another dog across the street, but she's quick to continue on her way. She's housetrained, quietly lets you know when it's time to head outside, and has had no accidents after her first day in foster care. She's not a fan of crates, however, and much prefers having a comfy spot near her people. Friends, Family & New Faces Bunny currently lives with two respectful 11-year-olds and has done wonderfully with them. While she's naturally shy around new people, she warms up beautifully when given the chance to move at her own pace. Once you've earned her trust, you'll be rewarded with gentle kisses, requests for pets, and a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be near you. She's been polite meeting larger dogs on walks and generally prefers to mind her own business after saying hello. Bunny's Perfect Match Bunny is looking for a patient family who understands that trust isn't built in a day. She'll appreciate a calm home where she can settle in at her own speed, and adopters who celebrate the little victories—like the first tail wag, the first zoomies, or the first time she chooses to curl up beside them. Loud noises, especially fireworks, can still be frightening for her, so she'll need a family willing to help her feel safe when the world gets a little overwhelming. One Last Thing... Bunny's foster family had a strict "no dogs in the bed" rule...until Bunny. After spending her first night trying to figure out this whole "home" thing, she quietly climbed onto the bed one night and curled up at the foot under her own little blanket. She's slept there ever since, never taking up too much space, just peacefully dreaming near the people she loves. That's Bunny in a nutshell: gentle, respectful, incredibly sweet, and happiest when she's simply close to her person. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will quietly fill your home with love, Bunny is ready to hop right into your heart.
