APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org Adoption Fee $450 - the fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE and is not specific for any dog or puppy; it goes to the expenses of the organization as a whole* OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org and must be completed in order to set up a meeting. Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Fun ❤️ Friendly ❤️ Funny FITZ is a gorgeous purebred red-tri miniature Australian Shepherd who is in need of a loving, active home. Fitz is the perfect mini size; he’s 30 lbs and of moderate energy with a long life ahead of him. Fitz would love to spend his life with someone moderately active but also in a home that is calm and peaceful. Fitz is being rehomed because he is anxious and timid around the toddler and newborn in his former home. He would definitely turn back time if he could to when HE was the baby! None of the tiny, whiny creatures that have invaded his space It is very common for mini Aussies to be skeptical of humans close to their size Fitz is extremely smart,he knows basic commands like sit, lie down and paw - he’s very eager to please and loves the attention paid to him for learning new tricks. Fitz is both praise-motivated and treat-motivated - he is good on a leash but also enjoys playing in the yard if someone will grab a ball and join him! Of his many Superpowers Fitz can tell when a diesel engine drives by because he does NOT like the sound; we think he’s trying to warn us of something possibly scarier but it always ends up just being a big truck! In addition to being an adventurous and inquisitive outdoor pal Fitz is loyal and sweet and LOVES to cuddle! If you’ve been looking for a Mini man, a gorgeous redhead who will make you laugh, keep you company and or play with a female companion dog then FITZ might be the perfect match for you! To set a meeting to adopt Fitz and to get more information about him please complete our application on our website below, THEN: TEXT KEVIN:469-623-3999 & SARA:214-549-9905 So one of us can check your application and get back to you! www.dashdog.org General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
