Thank you!June a 9-week-old brown tabby domestic short-haired kitten who was in a critical state when she was brought to Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) at 1-day old for help. Her mom was having complications to labor, so June was bottle-fed and raised by a human foster. Her birthday is May 3, 2026.Due to her difficult start, she is bonded with her brother Julius, and she loves to play alone or with her brother. Her favorite toy is the 4-level ball tower. Although she is bonded with her brother, she also loves to snuggle or climb up to your lap or to be cradled in your arms. She is loving and has a loud purr and has a calm personality.Fostered kittens were raised by a human foster and they don’t learn about predators or dangers outside the home. The foster encouraged the kittens to trust everyone and other pets. With her loving and trusting nature, she is not a candidate to live outside. She doesn’t understand that cars, dogs, coyotes, or owls may do her harm. She looks at the outside world like it’s a TV show. When faced with danger, she will hunker down because she was not taught to run and hide. June and Julius are happy to live indoors where they rule their domain.
