Claude has had a journey of self-discovery and he's come out the other side a better cat for it. He arrived here as Esme — a perfectly lovely name that turned out to be, shall we say, based on incomplete information. A quick plot twist later and Claude was born, which suits him completely because Claude is a solid black, impossibly sweet lap kitten who was clearly always exactly who he was meant to be, just waiting for the right name to catch up. And what a name to grow into — our Claude is helpful, sweet, and will sit with you through any problem you need to think through, any question you need answered, and any existential crisis you need company for. He's endlessly patient, remarkably calm, and has very strong feelings about autonomous weaponry that we won't get into here but just know he's on the right side of it.
