Mr. Banks

Hi! I'm Mr Banks.    I'm an enigma! Let me explain....I'm very calm and easy going in the house. I love to be snuggled, scratched, and pet (belly rubs in particular). I'll curl up next to you and just sleep, I love being close to my person! I walk well on a leash, I'm calm in crowds and social settings, and I don't react to other dogs unless we're introduced (and then I just sniff and play).    But, when I'm outside off leash I love chasing tennis balls, my foster mom says I'm so cute and bouncy! I love running and playing outside with other dogs (but I do get sad if I'm away from my person for too long). I've even been introduced to chickens, it was so exciting I herded them all into their coop in record time! Though my foster mom won't leave me alone with the chickens because we're not sure what I'm mixed with and if I'd have other instincts too. She says with training I could make a great addition to a farm or small homestead.    My ideal home would be one with lots of love and attention with a person or family that wouldn't leave me alone for too long, and would give me the mental and physical stimulation I crave. I'm very trainable and haven't had an accident in the house in over a week. I'll hang out and sleep in my crate if I can see someone, otherwise I get sad and whine and bark. I'm good with all animals I've met, I'm not scared of any of them (yet), I love all people, and kids!    My foster mom says I'm a heeler mix (best guess) and I shouldn't get bigger than 40-50 pounds.    If you're interested in making me part of your family please fill out an application at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
