Description

Millie is a 3-year-old Boxer-American Staffie mix adult female. She is a Mama who was rescued from a high-kill shelter, along with her six 2-week-old puppies, on the day they were scheduled to be euthanized. Fast forward 8 weeks: Millie is on her own and recovering beautifully after caring for her puppies. Millie weighs 53 pounds and is full of love and sweetness. She’s decompressing in a foster home and getting plenty of TLC. Millie is crate-trained and well-behaved at home. She loves the children she’s met, especially those over 10 years old. She enjoys car rides and yard adventures. Millie walks great on a leash and loves to play with bones and toys. Once she feels better, she will be spayed by our rescue vet and get another wellness exam. She is current on vaccinations, was dewormed, received her comprehensive fecal test, and is microchipped. Millie was protective of other dogs around her puppies, which is normal. Now that Millie is in a foster home away from her puppies, our trainer will assess her and provide the training she deserves for success. She’s an absolute gem—affectionate, playful, silly, grateful, and thankful for the love and support from Doggie Bonez Rescue volunteers. Adopt amazing Millie. If you're interested in adopting Millie, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Millie's cuteness. Our dog adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more.
