WATCH MY VIDEO...Woody is a handsome 6 year old Black Lab mix who came to us from another shelter in search of a fresh start. While we do not know much about his past, it has not taken long for him to win over the hearts of our staff and volunteers. If you are looking for a calm, loyal companion, Woody may be the perfect match. He is friendly, affectionate, and one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves to cuddle and is happiest relaxing beside his favorite people. Whether it's sharing a bench for some quiet time or soaking up attention, Woody is always ready for snuggles. Woody is also a smart boy with a charming sense of humor. He has a silly side and likes to keep everyone smiling. One of his favorite games is pretending he doesn't want to come back inside after enjoying time outdoors, making it clear he'd rather stay out a little longer with his human friends. Our staff and volunteers describe Woody as easy to collar and wonderful on a leash. He walks beautifully and does not appear to need any additional leash training.
