Meet Miss Merino (Meri) and her sweet, gentle nature that is like getting a warm fuzzy all day long. Meri is the smallest among her siblings from the litter of Yarn babies, but her playfulness and social personality make up for her tiny stature!Meri would do well in almost any household, whether it’s busy or calm. She has been exposed to loud noises and loves being around people. Meri is gentle and would thrive in a home with respectful children. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings (Karakul, Rambouillet, Dorset or Corridale) for companionship. As a young cat, she would need to be adopted with one of those siblings, or into a home with another young cat. She also lives with dogs!Miss Meri learns through observation. When she was first introduced to a want toy, she didn’t know what to make of it, but after watching her siblings and other feline housemates play, she caught on quick and now loves to show off her skill at catching “prey,” proudly parading whatever toy or wand or feather she caught through the house for everybody to see. Meri loves to be pet and then to snuggle up against her human or her siblings once playtime is over. She also enjoys rubbing up against and snuggling with dogs, leaving no doubt as to her easygoing and friendly nature. If you're looking for a sweet and playful companion who will steal your heart, Merino ("Meri") is the purrfect match for you!
