Meet Olive! Olive is a quiet, gentle soul who's looking for a patient family that will let her blossom in her own time. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, beneath her reserved nature is a sweet cat who simply needs a safe, loving environment to build her confidence. Olive would do best in a calm home where she can explore at her own pace, find her favorite sunny spots, and learn that the world isn't such a scary place. With kindness, patience, and understanding, she's sure to reward her new family with trust, companionship, and the special bond that comes from earning the love of a shy cat. If you're looking to make a real difference in a cat's life and have room in your heart for a gentle friend, Olive is ready to find the forever home where she can truly thrive.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
