Description

Kiki is a gentle, quiet girl with the sweetest soft expression — and yes, those puppy dog eyes are every bit as irresistible as they look! She may appreciate taking things slow at first, but she warms up quickly and adjusts to new surroundings beautifully, especially when kind words and a few yummy treats are involved. Kiki came to us as a stray, so her past is unknown, but she has been an absolutely lovely little resident during her time at the shelter and has made it easy for us to adore her. She clearly seems to have been a house dog before, with wonderful manners to show for it. Kiki appears to be potty trained, may even be crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows the cues sit and down. She has a mellow, easygoing personality and seems happiest enjoying slow strolls, gentle snuggles, and relaxed playtime. Kiki has a soft, affectionate nature and often likes to stay close to her people — especially when she’s hoping for a little extra love. We do not know if Kiki has lived with other animals before. During her time here, she has not shown reactivity toward other dogs, though she does carry herself with a confident demeanor around them and may not pair best with a dominant dog. Slow introductions are always encouraged, and we’re happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption if needed! Overall, Kiki is a laidback little lady with an easy-to-please personality who would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a more calm, loving addition to their home.
