To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 3 Yrs. Weight: 23 Lbs. This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Iggy is a fun outgoing energetic guy! Iggy's current foster family loves him for his Boston Terrier breed, his energy level and his great personality. Iggy gets along with adults, kids, dogs he lives with and new dogs he has met so far. He is interested in making new friends with other dogs and is very playful. When he plays with his pup friends he enjoys some squeaky toy, tug-of-war and wrestling fun. Iggy rides well in a car calmly when crated. He has also been left in his crate up to 6 hours in his foster home and done well. He can walk calmly on a loose leash but may pull at times so could use some skills reinforcement there. He has not had any accidents so far while housetraining. Good boy, Iggy! Iggy likes walks and yard time. He is an active guy always ready to go and has been getting 2 to 4 hours of excercise a day which seems to fit him well. After that he is ready for some lap time and is ready to snuggle. When meeting kitties and smaller animals, Iggy has been tolerant, playful, interested and has respected corrections so far. He has been described as a perfect houseguest. This goofy, smart, sweet boy is ready to bring his comedy routine to his new family and make your day with his love and antics. We don't know much about Iggy's back story but we do know that he's a special little all around great guy! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
