Description

Meet Tango!  This handsome little guy was rescued in North Nashville during the first week of June 2026.  Like many rescued street kittens, he has needed a little bit of time to learn that people can be trusted.  While he’s still a bit cautious, Tango is a sweet, gentle boy whose purr motor is running most of the time.  In the short time he’s been in foster care, Tango has made wonderful progress.  His foster mom has no doubt that his true personality will continue to blossom once he’s settled into a loving forever home.  He’ll thrive with a patient family that will let him build confidence at his own pace while enjoying the rewarding journey of watching him come out of his shell.  Tango is a handsome buff-orange tabby with classic stripes and striking gold-brown eyes that are impossible to overlook.  He enjoys chasing and wrestling either his sister Marlo or his other rescued littermate Shiloh!  If you ever wanted two, you can have your pick!  (Or, Tango will be delighted to be the only fur baby who gets all your devotion !)  All three were altered on July 1 at approximately 12 weeks of age, each tested negative on all routine screenings, and have remained healthy and happy throughout their time in foster care.  If you have the patience to welcome a somewhat shy kitten into your heart, Tango will reward you with trust, companionship, and the joy of watching him grow into the wonderful cat he’s meant to be.  Contact CCR today to learn more about adopting this special boy.
