ROSIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Rosie       Best Guess for Breed:  Goldendoodle (golden retriever and poodle mix)   Best Guess for Age: 6 years as of July 2026       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 109 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Rosie is Looking For:   This sweetie landed in the shelter due to no fault of her own. She's eagerly looking forward to getting her new humans for sniffy walks and world exploration! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.   But she wants one thing to be very clear. She has that typical doodle coat. That means she mats easily. Mats are painful! She needs daily brushing - all 109 pounds of her, everywhere, proper brushing all the way down to the skin. And she needs regular professional grooming. For a dog with that coat and of that size, that can get pricey. So she is seeking an adopter who understands fully what they're getting themselves into time- and money-wise.    What do they get in exchange? An incredibly sweet girl who's ready to love and be loved. Has so much affection and loyal companionship to offer. Already knows the Sit, Shake, and Lay Down commands. And as said earlier - a very sweet girl.    What do you say? Is Rosie the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has spent time in foster care.
