Hi, I'm Oakley. I can be pretty shy at first, but I open up quickly. I need to be in a quiet home, ideally with another calm dog. Once I'm comfortable with you, I love to be in your lap and get lots of affection. Beef liver treats and Good'n'fun kabobs are my favorite! I was a transfer from another shelter from a pretty bad neglect situation, so I will need lots of love and patience in my forever home as I learn how to "dog" again. My previous foster said I need consistency with potty training. Adopters should know that with my poodle fur type, I will need daily brushing and regular grooming. Come meet me!
