Adoption fee: $700 Clover (aka Chloe) – 2–3 Years Old | 27 lbs of Pure Love Meet the Mama Who Deserves to Be the Baby Before Clover was ready to think about herself, she had ten very important little jobs to do. She came into rescue incredibly pregnant, safely welcomed TEN puppies into the world, and proved to be the most devoted, patient, and loving mama anyone could ask for. She poured everything she had into raising her babies, making sure every one of them was healthy, happy, and loved. Now those puppies are growing up and finding families of their own. It's finally Clover's turn. And trust us—this sweet girl has earned every belly rub, every cozy couch nap, and every spoiled-dog moment coming her way. Everyone's Best Friend If Clover had a life motto, it would probably be: "Can we all just be friends?" She's one of those wonderfully easy dogs who seems to get along with absolutely everyone. Dogs? Love them. Cats? Happy to coexist. Kids? Gentle and patient. She's currently living with a large dog, a corgi, and two cats, and fits right into the family. She enjoys playing with her canine friends but is just as happy politely sharing toys and peacefully hanging out. Her foster says she simply wants to be everyone's little buddy—and it couldn't be more true. The Perfect Mix of Playful and Peaceful Clover greets each morning with a happy potty break followed by a few joyful zoomies with her foster dog brother before settling in for breakfast. During the day, she's wonderfully easygoing. You'll find her exploring the backyard, carrying around her favorite stuffed toy like she's won a prize, learning the art of fetch, supervising the humans to make sure nothing exciting is happening without her, or soaking up the sunshine before drifting off for one of her famous naps. When evening rolls around, she's all about quality time. A neighborhood walk full of curious sniffing and enthusiastic tail wags is followed by her favorite activity of all—curling up next to her people on the couch for a relaxing night in. She's equally happy joining you on an adventure or helping you perfect the art of doing absolutely nothing. Sweetness Comes Naturally Clover is one of those rare dogs who is affectionate without being demanding. She loves cuddles. She loves belly rubs. She loves giving kisses. She loves receiving kisses. Mostly, she just loves being close to her people. She'll quietly follow you around the house, not because she's needy, but because she genuinely enjoys your company. Whether you're cooking dinner, folding laundry, or working from home, Clover is happiest simply being nearby. Smart, Polite & Easy to Live With Some dogs make you work for good manners. Clover came prepared. She's fully house-trained and even figured out the doggie door on her very first day in foster care. She has wonderful house manners, doesn't chew inappropriate items, doesn't dig, and can be left home alone without anxiety. She's also incredibly polite around food. She patiently waits for treats instead of demanding them and never tries to steal meals from the other pets. (Although if someone leaves leftovers behind...she's more than happy to volunteer for cleanup duty.) She loves just about every dog treat imaginable—crunchy or chewy—but has officially declared vegetables to be unacceptable. Ready to Keep Learning Clover is eager to please and very treat motivated, making training both easy and fun. She's already mastered so much, and she's currently working on polishing her leash skills. She sometimes gets excited and pulls a bit on walks, but she's learning quickly and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. With a little continued practice, she'll be an amazing walking companion. The Home of Her Dreams Clover would thrive in almost any loving home. She'd absolutely enjoy having another friendly dog to play with and keep her company, but she's also confident enough to be your one-and-only, soaking up every bit of love and attention for herself. What matters most isn't the size of the house or whether there are other pets. What matters is having a family that's ready to love her as much as she's ready to love them. Why Clover Is So Special Some dogs come into rescue needing someone to save them. Clover came into rescue busy saving everyone else. She gave everything she had to her ten puppies without asking for anything in return. Now she's ready for the chapter where she gets to be someone's cherished companion instead of someone's mama. She's affectionate without being demanding. Playful without being overwhelming. Gentle, patient, smart, adaptable, and endlessly loving. Clover has already proven she's an incredible mother. Now she's ready to discover what it's feels like to simply be someone's beloved dog. If you're looking for the kind of companion who will happily join you for a walk, make you smile with her stuffed toy parades, curl up beside you every evening, and love you with her whole heart, Clover is waiting. And after everything she's done for her babies, we think it's finally time someone spoiled her.
