Vader (A141374) is a 9-month-old German Shepherd mix who weighed 68.7 pounds on intake!07/06/26 Vader, previously known as Tracker, is back at the shelter and looking for his new place to call home! He was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate pup! Vader was said to have done great with every person that he has ever met including babies and children. He was also said to do well with other animals including dogs and cats. It is important that appropriate introductions are made to help set him up for success! Vader was noted to be kennel trained and will stand by the door when he needs to go outside to potty. He is still working on his basic commands but is trying to be the best boy! In typical young pup fashion, Vader was known to dig and chew. He is a sweet boy, looking for a home to grow old in! In typical puppy fashion, this kid is going to need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. He is a smart pup and likes to tell you all about his day. He is looking for a home that can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated as he ages. We encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class to learn a trick or two. He may even enjoy graduating to an agility class or scent class as he gets older.
