Meet Bailey! Born around January 7, 2026 this sweet girl is expected to top out at a perfect medium size of about 50 pounds when fully grown. We’ve had an absolute blast getting to know her, and she is truly as sweet as they come. Bailey is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and we're told she’s great with cats and kids, too! Bailey is crate trained and good on leash.  We are told if she is off leash she may have some wanderlust.   Her coat and coloring are just gorgeous!  While her previous owners mentioned she gets a bit drooly in cars, her journey to us was a tough one—she spent the first leg of her trip (45 minutes) in a vehicle without AC on a 90-degree day. When she transferred to our volunteer's air-conditioned car, she immediately fell asleep and did great for the first hour, though the final hour of winding, curvy roads did result in some motion sickness. We find that taking multiple short, easy car trips can help dogs overcome mild motion sickness. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
