I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by Mid July*.Hi!  My name is Tulip and I'm almost ready to go to my forever home.  I'm  shy and scared and it may take a while for me  to come out of my shell. I'm working very hard and my foster mom says I'm making more and more progress each day.  I love to play on my cat tree, my tunnel and with my stuffed mouse.  Zip ties also keep me busy.  I'm still baby and I'll require time,  patience, kindness and lots of love while I learn and grow.  Please consider making me a part of your family. You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal.Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
