Stormy - Female DOB 2/10/2026 Domestic Short Hair - Black Stormy's story is one of resilience and hope. She was rescued on her own from a storm runoff drain in the South, where she and her family had taken shelter. Thanks to the quick actions of another rescue group, her mom and five siblings were safely brought to safety as well. Now all this sweet girl needs is a forever home where she can continue to blossom. Stormy is a gentle, affectionate kitten who takes a little time to feel safe in new surroundings. It's easy to understand why she's cautious after such a rough start, but once she learns that you're someone she can trust, you'll be rewarded with nonstop purrs and a loving companion who enjoys gentle affection. Like any kitten, Stormy has a playful side and can happily entertain herself for hours with toys and kitten antics. While she was initially intimidated by larger adult cats, she's become more confident as she's settled in and has learned that they aren't so scary after all. Stormy would do best in a patient, quiet home with another young, playful cat to help build her confidence and give her a feline friend to romp around with. If you don't already have a young kitty at home, we'd love to help you find the perfect companion for her. Because she's naturally timid and needs time to adjust, she would be happiest in a home without dogs or young children.
