Description

Oscar (full name Oscar Pig Pen Montague) is a 7 year old gorgeous gray and white kitty. We aren't sure what Oscar went through before coming to us, but he clearly had been through a lot. He was found digging through trash in front of the Brooklyn Cat Cafe, super dirty and clearly having been through a rough time. After months of decompression and getting him healthy again, he's ready for a loving home! Oscar is an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy who loves being around people. He enjoys spending his days relaxing near his humans, gazing out the window, or curling up for a well deserved nap. One of his favorite pastimes is sitting by the window and watching the world go by. Birds, people, sunshine and garbage trucks keep him entertained for hours. He has a very calm and gentle personality and would love to be in a home where he can enjoy plenty of companionship, comfy spots to lounge, and slow days, albeit with a few bursts of energy to play with his favorite toys, and a game of fetch in the lounge every now and then (it's not just for dogs!). If you’re looking for a friendly, laid-back cat who will happily keep you company and enjoy your home with you, Oscar is the perfect match. Oscar was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
