Ollie is a 9-month-old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs in at a perfect 21 pounds. This handsome young pup is full of love, curiosity, and playful energy, and he's looking for a family to help him continue growing into the amazing dog he's meant to be. Ollie is doing a fantastic job with house-training and is almost there! He does okay in his crate, although it's not his favorite place to spend time. When it comes to other dogs, Ollie can be a little shy at first. He tends to be slow to warm up because of fear, but with calm, proper introductions, he gains confidence and enjoys making new canine friends. Ollie absolutely loves kids! He's always excited to see them and can't wait to be part of the fun. He's still working on keeping all four paws on the floor, so he may jump up in his excitement, but he's eager to learn with gentle guidance. Some of Ollie's favorite things include playing with toys, chewing on a good bone, going for car rides, romping around the yard, and, after a day of adventures, curling up for cuddles with his favorite people. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate young dog who's ready to continue learning and becoming a wonderful companion, Ollie may be the perfect addition to your family! His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
