SIR LANCELOT NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Sir Lancelot        Best Guess for Breed:  Lab and Great Dane mix  Best Guess for Age:   5 months as of July 2026      SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  31 lbs as of 7/3/26; he is still growing.    Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.    Sir Lancelot is Looking For:   His forever home! This lanky puppy is eager to have his own humans for lots of play time and snuggles. He wants to clarify that as a four-legged mammal without opposable thumbs, he is not interested in jousts, horseback riding, or any type of sword. Chain mail is off the table too! Instead he'd like sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up. And to make pup pals along the way! And to go to dog school, to show how super smart he is! (And a name change wouldn't be wrong either.)Most of all, he wants to always know where he belongs (on your lap, no matter how big he gets) and to be safe and loved. In exchange he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Does he get to grow up with you?
