Sunflower – Gentle, Easygoing, and Full of Heart Sunflower is a young, 52-pound tri-pawed Pit Bull Terrier mix who doesn’t let anything slow her down. She may takes a minute or two to warm up to people, but once she does, she’s your bestie forever. Sweet, mellow and low maintenance: Sunflower’s very happy on a dog bed wherever you are (and certainly won’t turn an invite down if you let her on the couch or bed). Professional lounger: She adores head, chin, and belly scratches and is equally content lounging in the grass or sniffing flowers, soaking up a peaceful afternoon. Great home manners: Sunflower is house trained, sleeps soundly on her dog bed through the night and is polite around food and treats. Remarkably resilient: Sunflower has adapted beautifully to life on three legs and gets around confidently. She already knows a few cues while continuing to learn more.
