Description

A DARLING LITTLE GIRL:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 7 lbs. Hi there, I’m Norma!  I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home and family.  I’m glad to be here and I am enjoying my time in a wonderful foster home while I wait to meet my new family.  Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers or very young kids that may fall on me because I’m very small. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The nice shelter volunteers and my foster family describe me as active, friendly, fun, and playful. I’m a sweet, affectionate little girl who is generous with my kisses and sharing lots of love. When I’m especially happy, my tail doesn’t just wag—it spins in circles! I can be a little wary of strangers and may bark at first, but if you approach me calmly and give me a moment, I warm up quickly and my loving personality takes over. I’m just the sweetest little companion, ready to fill my new home with fun, affection, and plenty of kisses. / Energy level: 6-8.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t think I know any commands yet, but Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / I may not have been crate trained prior to being rescued as my foster reports that when I’m crated at nighttime and when they are not home, I do cry and bark for quite a while before I settle down. This may improve over time, but it’s best I don’t live in an apartment/condo type home. / My potty manners have been very good both at the shelter and in my foster home.    • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling, being petted, and curling up in a lap for a cozy nap—I’m definitely a lap dog! A little bite of eggs or cheese are some of my favorite treats, too. I showed some interest in toys while I was at the shelter, though I haven’t been very interested in them in my foster home. I’m happiest spending quality time with my people and soaking up all the love and affection I can get. I like it when new people give me a moment or so to get to know them. / At the shelter, loud or unknown noises startled me. In my foster home I do not like being in a crate and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful, snuggly little dog looking for a family to love and be loved by furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
