Description

Victoria, a sweet 10 month old kitty with unique and beautiful markings, was brought in as a stray with 2 kittens after she brought them into someone’s attic for safe keeping. Now she is ready to be an independent lady and let her kitten side shine! Despite having a litter of her own, Victoria is still quite young herself. She would love to go to a family who will give her lots of attention and playtime. While in our care, she's been a bit shy, and one of our caring volunteers noticed she didn't use her tail much. It turned out her tail was broken very close to the base, so our clinical team performed a tail amputation. She's recovered very well and will be much more comfortable now, so we're hoping to find a caring home where she can take a little time to warm up and become a purrfect kitty companion! Victoria's adoption fee is sponsored thanks to a good samaritan!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
