These days, you'll usually find me curled up in a soft bed, soaking up a sunny window, or relaxing close to my favorite people. I'm a pretty laid-back girl, but don't let my age fool you- I still get the occasional burst of energy and enjoy batting around a favorite toy when the mood strikes.Once I get to know you, I'm a very affectionate companion. I love spending quiet time with the people I trust, whether that's curling up beside you on the couch or simply hanging out in the same room. I'm not shy about asking for a few extra pets, and every now and then I'll give you a gentle little head butt to remind you just how much I care. I'm not much of a chatterbox, but I have my own quiet ways of letting you know when I'd love a little attention.I do have one little request: please be patient with me. I'm naturally shy, and new people, unfamiliar sounds, or changes to my routine can make me feel a bit nervous. When that happens, I'll probably find a cozy hiding spot where I can watch everything from a safe distance. I like to take my time getting to know my surroundings and the people in them. But once I realize I'm safe, you'll see my sweet personality shine. There's a Labrador Retriever here, and while we don't spend much time together, I don't mind having him around. I also live with older teenagers and do well with them. I may also do well with respectful younger children who understand that I like my space sometimes.
