Description
Meet Rue! Rue is an approximately 4-year-old, 42-pound Goldendoodle with the sweetest soul. She's a gentle, loving girl whose favorite place is right by your side. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be part of everything you do, Rue is ready to be your new best friend.Rue gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and people. While she does great with children, she can be a little timid at first around little ones, so slow, gentle introductions are best. She also appreciates a little time to warm up to new people and loud noises, but once she trusts you, her loving personality truly shines. Her favorite things? Tennis balls, stuffies, and cuddling up beside you on the couch or in bed. She also loves playing and wrestling with other dogs. Rue is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash (with an occasional stubborn streak!), and enjoys being part of the family.Like most Goldendoodles, Rue will need regular grooming to keep her coat looking and feeling its best. Grooming isn't her favorite activity, but with patience and a gentle groomer, she'll get through it.Rue would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. She forms strong bonds with her people and can become vocal if she's left alone outside, in her crate, or away from her family for extended periods. If you're looking for a calm, gentle companion who loves to stay close, Rue is your girl. She has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for the family she'll call her own.Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!
