***IN TRAINING TILL MID JULY***Pet Rescue By Judy has teamed up with an incredible program called the Greyhound Advancement Center which will allow some of our dogs to attend a ten-week prison training program. The program originally started to help retired racing greyhounds learn how to “dog”.Greyhound racing is now illegal in our state, but the program worked so well that they decided to open up to other rescues and accept different breeds. Each dog is teamed up with an inmate who is in their dog training program. This program allows inmates to gain an important skill that they can bring with them when they are released. The head trainers are the best of the best and we are sure that these dogs are going to come out of this program with all kinds of tricks up their little doggy sleeves. Our dogs are so blessed to be able to learn important obedience training to help with their confidence and make them awesome additions to a family.We cannot thank Greyhound Advancement Center enough for giving these dogs a leg up on getting into their forever home!MEET JJ!!   JJ made his way to us from an overcrowded out-of-state shelter in hopes of finding the happy, loving home he deserves. From the minute he arrived, this handsome pup has been all wiggles and smiles—a playful spirit who’s eager to be part of a family.   Personality LOVES water - perfect for home with a pool or family that likes to go boating Playful & upbeat: Loves engaging with people and would enjoy toys, yard time, and fun training games. People-oriented: Lights up when he has company and is happiest being included in the action.  Very active and energetic. JJ will do best with a fenced yard and is looking for an active family to help with all his energy. Important Information for New Puppy Parents     Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,    dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.   We  strongly recommend that the  entire family participates in pupp training classes.  This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.   **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families!
