Weather Balloon is one lucky kid. She was picked up from the streets with her mom and 5 siblings when the kittens were just a couple days old. She had an eye infection and struggled to gain weight at the beginning. Luckily, her foster mom took care of her, and her cat mama was one of the best. WB does have some corneal scarring from that infection, but she sees just fine.  Everyone else was neutered and adopted a few weeks ago, but Weather Balloon decided she wanted to be the baby forever and not grow big enough for her surgery. Luckily, her foster mom forced her to eat a lot, and now she's only one standard deviation below the norm for her age.  Weather Balloon is most certainly cute, but please read more before applying for her. WB is a 12-week-old kitten, but she is already taking over the world. WB is an escape artist and will not be contained. She is a drama queen and will growl and hiss at new cats... until she decides that she loves them and they're her best friend. She will steal toys from every cat in sight. She will bust in on someone else's food and claim it as her own.  On the other hand, WB gives some world-class cuddles, she's adorable as heck, and she's actually a really great companion to other cats (once she has deemed them trustworthy). She MUST be adopted into a home with another kitten or a high-energy, playful young cat. She will also do well with dogs with a proper introduction. Children? As long as she gets to be the baby, it's fine. Just remember, if you adopt WB, she's in charge. She runs your household now.  All jokes aside, she's a great little kitten. You'll never be bored with WB around, and she's obviously the most adorable thing on earth. She has a terrific purr and she loves to be loved. And then she will try to climb up your legs. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care.
