Jesse's Story . Two years ago, Jesse left Forgotten Cats as a tiny kitten, tucked safely beside her beloved brother, Buzz. They had found what every rescue cat dreams of—a family, a home, and a future filled with love. They thought they were home forever.  But through no fault of their own - a family member is allergic, Jesse and Buzz have found themselves back where their journey began. Now just two years old, they're no longer tiny kittens. Instead, they're confused young cats trying to understand why the people and home they trusted are suddenly gone. The comfort of a warm couch has been replaced by the unfamiliar sounds of a shelter, and they're doing their best to find their footing again from inside a cage. Jesse is a gentle, beautiful girl with soulful eyes that seem to ask the same heartbreaking question every day: "What happened?" She doesn't understand why her world changed—only that she's waiting and hoping for someone to love her again. Jesse and Buzz share a special bond after growing up together, and they would be overjoyed to start their next chapter side by side. If that's not possible, they are also happy to be adopted separately, as long as each of them can finally find the forever family they deserve.
