This little guy has already proven he has the heart of a champion. When Max first came to Canine Castaways, he was battling a severe case of pancreatitis. Thanks to excellent veterinary care, plenty of love, and one determined little spirit, Max made a full recovery. Today, he' healthy, happy, and ready to start the next chapter of his life. If you ask Max what his favorite thing is, the answer is easy... People! Max loves everyone he meets and is happiest when he's with his humans. Once he chooses his person, he forms a deep bond and becomes a devoted little shadow, always ready to offer love, companionship, and plenty of cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs, doesn't seem to mind cats, and is doing great with his house-training. Whether he's curled up beside you on the couch or following you from room to room, Max simply wants to be part of the family. Max may have overcome a difficult beginning, but he hasn't let it change his outlook on life. He greets each day with a wagging tail, an open heart, and a joyful spirit that reminds everyone around him how resilient dogs can be.
