  When you picture puppies, you imagine round bellies, wagging tails, and carefree playtime. That’s exactly who these 9 beautiful Hound/Lab mix puppies are — happy, sweet, and full of life. Born on March 9th to a Redbone Coonhound mix stray momma dog, these puppies did have to fight for some of the shared puppy chow as they grew up.  A little underweight at 4 months when we took them in, we are feeding them high end puppy chow and doing 4 meals during the day.  Their little attitudes are just amazing. There are four boys and five girls, all in stunning shades of yellow and gold, with one tan and with black face girl and 3 puppies all ebony black with a shine and softness to their fur that is surprising.  They are all truly stands out in their nature and their intelligence.  Their mama is a typical Redbone Hound of reddish color and no one knows who the dad is.  Mom was taken in while pregnant by a kind family that gave her a safe place to deliver and care for her babies. Our boy puppy, Laddy, is a handsome soft solid golden hue with the nicest long Hound ears we have ever seen. You have to touch them and feel how silky they are.  His face is gentle and softened by his eyes that speak to you and just draw you in when he looks up at you for attention, love and a soft lap for him to sit upon.  He craves attention and one on one time with a person after being just part of a large litter that worn down the foster family who works. These puppies are growing fast and will likely mature to 50 pounds.
