Howard is a 2-year-old neutered male Basset Hound who came to us as a stray from the county. We were surprised when no one came to claim him. He’s got all the classic Basset Hound charm—long body, super soft floppy ears, and a red coat with white markings. Weighing in at 57 pounds, Howard is a big adult dog. He’s curious, maybe even a little “nosey,” always checking out his surroundings. He loves being close to people and is incredibly loyal—once he bonds with you, he’ll follow you everywhere. This sweet guy would do well with kids, and if you have another dog, we’d need a meet-and-greet to make sure they’re a good match. Basset Hounds don’t come through PAHS often, so if you think Howard is the one, come meet him soon.
