Description
Adonis – Black Male Mix, 10 Months, 70 lbs. Meet Adonis — and yes, the name fits him perfectly! When our volunteer picked him up from the shelter, “Adonis” immediately came to mind, even before knowing its meaning. A quick search confirmed it was meant to be: in Greek mythology, Adonis was known for his extraordinary beauty and charm. Honestly…just look at this handsome boy! Affectionately known as Donnie, this 70-lb Lab mix is a big, goofy puppy with an even bigger heart. He’s house and potty trained, good on leash, and loves being close to his people. He’s happiest swimming, learning to fetch, or snuggling up for some cuddle time. He’s still young and learning, but he’s already showing what a wonderful companion he can be. Donnie does well around children, though he still doesn’t fully understand just how big he is. He is a smart dog that has learned to sit, wait, and take treats gently. Adonis would thrive with an active family or person who enjoys hiking, running, walking, exploring, or simply having a loyal companion by their side. He has energy to burn, a heart full of love, and the kind of personality that makes every day more fun. Continued training and positive reinforcement will help him become the incredible dog we know he’s meant to be.
