Description
Foster or forever home wanted, meet Louie. We don't have a lot of information on Louie's back story, just that he landed himself at the San Bernardino shelter last month as a stray pet. As per the norm, Louie had no identification to help us find his family, no collar, no tag, no microchip. Louie's time was up and due to his calm, sweet demeanor, he was highlighted in Shane's War for the several days they were at the shelter trying to bring attention to so many deserving dogs that were at risk. Louie is quite possibly a Bassador, with a Labrador head and a Bassett Hound body! He's a cute little guy with his compact body. Louie was well loved at the shelter and received many rave reviews about how friendly and gentle he is. He played nicely in playgroups with all the other dogs and shared a kennel with different kennel mates. He was good with all the volunteers and staff. Louies came to the rescue on 6/30 and went straight to boarding so we are still getting to know him. If Louie sounds like a pup you are interested in meeting, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org. Louie is located in Southern California.
