Magnolia Mae found herself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. Mag was pregnant and in need.  She gave birth and all but 2 of her babies passed. Because she struggled with motherhood, her surviving babies were separated from her and have been saved by another rescue. She has tested positive for heartworm and has started treatment.  She will finish treatment when she arrives in Minneapolis.  Mag will need a quieter home during her treatment, She is good with other dogs and people (older kids), and cats are unknown.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Meet Magnolia Mae! ❤️ At around 1 year old, this adorable terrier mix is the total package. She loves being held, happily soaks up all the cuddles she can get, and has a calm, affectionate personality that makes her an easy companion. She’s been a wonderful houseguest in her foster home with no potty accidents and does great in her kennel. She’s ready to fit right into a family that’s looking for a loyal best friend. She is heartworm positive, but don’t let that stop you from meeting her. Matty’s Heart & Soul Animal Rescue will cover the cost of her heartworm treatment, so all she needs is a loving home to help her through recovery.
