Schlimazel!  Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!    Introducing the Shotz puppies – Laverne and Shirley! They are beautiful TINY ladies who we think may be chiweenie mixes (chihuahua/dachshund).  Laverne and Shirley come from an active foster home where they have been living with an adult couple, three kids, and five dogs, and four cats (phew!).  They are calm and interested when going to new places and they love EVERYONE! They are all eager to find their new homes.     Laverne’s foster family reports that she is an affectionate cutie who is even-tempered, intelligent, and playful. She loves playing chase and bitey mouth with her canine friends or enjoys chew toys or squeaky toys on her own or with her people.  It’s not all playtime though, this adorable little girl also loves cuddle time! Is it time to relax? Laverne is down for some naps and cuddles on the sofa with her people!  You can watch a movie or just watch her run in her dreams.   Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it! Being so young, Laverne would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; she has so much to learn! She'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash.   We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and her human family.
