*sponsored adoption fee* Pippa was adopted from us two years ago and is very much loved however her mom has developed a allergy to her and she has made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her. "Pippa is truly the sweetest, kindest dog I've ever had.. She is 100% house broken, she does not ever chew or destroy anything, she loves cats, dogs, puppies, people, children, babies, etc... She can be left alone indoors unsupervised for hours without being destructive to anything in the house. Pippa would be well suited in a home with other dogs, puppies, cats, babies, kids, etc.... she has no cautions or barriers. She does like to play outdoors, but is also happy lounging around indoors. She is the best guard dog as well. Super vigilant of her surroundings at all times and is protective of me & Aine. She is spayed and UTD on all vaccines and just had her annual physical on June 10th . She is good with having nails trimmed and ears cleaned. She has been trained to a collar for barking as well as obedience. If her barking gets out of control, typically because she sees a bear or fox, one vibration will keep her in check. She can be off leash out in the woods and will immediately return with one beep signal. She can be off leash out in the woods and will immediately return with one beep signal. She can be taken out in any environment and be content. She is now awesome with riding in my truck for long rides. She used to hate car rides. She really is the model dog. I have not one complaint about her. I really appreciate you helping find her a new home . Please visit our website for more pictures of this dog and info on our adoption process and application which is located on the left column under "forms & applications" : https://barkdogfarm.rescuegroups.org Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered.
