Meet Charli Girl! Charli is a smart, affectionate, and adventurous 5-year-old, 45-pound Catahoula Leopard Dog seeking an experienced, patient adopter. What Charli loves *car rides, *hiking *exploring nature trails * running through fields and creeks *playing frisbee * belly rubs *relaxing on the couch  ** She thrives with physical exercise and mental enrichment. Charli is house-trained, current on vaccinations, in excellent health, and is not destructive in the home. Several years ago, Charli experienced repeated attacks and periods of isolation at doggy daycare.   Following these experiences, she developed reactivity toward other animals. She is not appropriate  for dog parks, daycare settings, or homes with additional pets. She startles easily, can display food guarding behaviors, and benefits from calm, consistent handling. Harsh corrections or yelling are not appropriate for Charli. Ideal home: secure fenced yard, no other animals, teens or adults only, daily exercise, and an adopter willing to continue training and behavior work. Charli's family is willing to assist with adoption fees, pay for professional training sessions, and cover her annual veterinary examination in November.
