This gorgeous black and tan Great Dane is just 1 year old and already weighs 120+ pounds — and she's still growing! Don’t let her giant size fool you though, Stella is truly a big sweetheart who simply loves being around her people. Stella came to us from a single mom and her young daughter who loved her dearly but simply didn't have the time a young Great Dane needs. Now she's looking for a forever family ready to give her the love, attention, and companionship she deserves. This playful girl gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and especially loves wrestling with her larger dog friends. Because she enjoys a good play session, a home with another playful dog that likes to wrestle would be right up her alley. Cats are currently unknown. Stella is already checking all the boxes too — she's kennel trained, house broken, knows how to use the dog door, and absolutely loves car rides. She can be a little vocal when she gets excited, but that's just part of her big personality shining through. If you're looking for a loving, playful, oversized best friend who wants to be involved in everything you do, Stella may be the perfect addition to your family! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $350. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
