Description

Meet Margo!Looking for a tiny dog with a huge personality? Meet Margo, an 8-month-old white and tan Deer Head Chihuahua who is full of energy, love, and playful puppy charm!Margo is an active, happy little girl who is always ready for her next adventure. Whether she's chasing toys, playing fetch, enjoying a game of tug-of-war, or entertaining herself with her favorite toys, she loves to stay busy. Like many puppies her age, she's currently teething, so she'll need plenty of appropriate chew toys to help keep her occupied.Despite her independent streak, Margo is also a sweet cuddle bug. After she's burned off some energy, she's more than happy to curl up with you—especially if you're relaxing in a comfy recliner! She enjoys being close to her people and makes a wonderful lap companion when playtime is over.Margo has been around children ages 6–10 and loved playing with them, and her previous family feels she would do well with kids of all ages. She has also lived with other dogs and enjoyed playing with them, making her a fun companion for an active canine friend. When meeting new people, Margo may be a little shy at first and likes a chance to observe and sniff everyone before jumping into the fun, but once she's comfortable, she's ready to make new friends. She enjoys car rides, and while she's only sometimes house-trained and hasn't learned to walk on a leash yet, she's still a young puppy with lots of potential to learn. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to grow into a wonderful companion.Margo would thrive in a home where she has plenty of opportunities to play and where someone can spend lots of time with her. If you're looking for a lively little sidekick who will keep you smiling with her playful antics and then snuggle up beside you at the end of the day, Margo could be the perfect addition to your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 PetWatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $175.00Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
