Description

Meet Dock! Dock is a gentle, thoughtful 3‑month‑old kitten who arrived with her siblings, each with their own personality—but Dock stands out in the loveliest way. She’s the more reserved one of the group, not because she’s shy, but because she likes to take her time. Dock is the kind of kitten who sits back, watches the room, and waits patiently for her turn. She’s observant, calm, and wonderfully steady for such a young cat.Dock has a soft spot for bird‑watching, happily settling into a window seat to track every flutter and chirp outside. She also adores being babied—gentle pets, cozy cuddles, and quiet affection are her favorite things. She’s the kitten who melts into your hands once she trusts you, offering a warm, peaceful presence. Her temperament makes her a great fit for many homes. Dock is good with kids, other cats, and dogs, and she handles new situations with a quiet confidence. She doesn’t demand attention, but she appreciates it deeply when it’s offered. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who brings calm energy and tender charm to your home, Dock is ready to curl up beside you and grow into the loving cat she’s meant to be.Dock's adoption fee is $75, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
