SO SWEET & SO FUN:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi I’m Dudley!  I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own.  I think that is the best news ever!  I also got to spend a couple of days in a temporary foster home and that was a blast!     • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I did well with the other dog in my temporary foster home and seemed to want to play, but the doggie there doesn’t play, so we coexisted peacefully. If you have another nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / I was interested in the dog savvy cats in my temp. foster home, but not in an aggressive way. All cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would do with another kitty. / I liked the 8-year-old in my temp. foster home though I was quite jumpy, and did this for attention, so I may be a bit much for younger kids.  If you have kids 8 and up let’s meet!  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I was a bit shut down at the shelter, but the moment I arrived at my temp. foster home, my personality burst into life! I quickly became friends with everyone - I don't discriminate when it comes to making new pals! I’m an energetic, bold, fearless little guy whose tail never seems to stop wagging. I love being wherever my people are and am a true Velcro dog who wants to be part of everything you're doing. If there’s nothing going on, I’ll happily entertain myself, though like many young dogs, that may include chewing on things I shouldn’t. I do understand when you redirect me to my toys and will just need your guidance to what’s appropriate. I’m an affectionate snuggler, an active playmate, and a fun companion all wrapped in one little package. Because I love being with my people so much, I may cry or bark when left, so an apartment or condo likely wouldn’t be the best match.  If you’re looking for a sweet, lively little sidekick with a big personality, I’m ready to fill that role. / Energy level:  5-7.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer! Check back soon to see what I've learned and let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in a crate in my new home.  I also bark when I’m in it in another room away from my people. / My potty manners were pretty good in my temp. foster home, and they reported that I was well on my way to mastering this, so please keep me on a good take-out schedule in my new home. My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I absolutely love playing with toys and chewing on bones - they're so much fun! I also have a very snuggly side and pretty much have two modes: busybody and lap dog. When I’m not playing or exploring, I’m happiest curled up in a lap, giving sweet kisses, or snuggling with my people. I’d love to sleep in bed with you, too, and my temp. foster says I settle in and sleep very well that way! / I don’t like being separated from my people and wouldn’t want to be away from them for a full workday. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful little dog looking for a wonderful family to share life with! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
