This handsome 18-month-old apricot Standard Poodle weighs about 45 pounds and still has a little filling out to do, but he’s already overflowing with personality and love. Dusty absolutely adores people of all sizes and truly believes everyone he meets is a potential new best friend. Dusty is a fun-loving, happy guy who enjoys being active and spending time with his people. He gets along well with larger dogs and would love a canine buddy his size to play with. However, he can be a bit too rough and enthusiastic for smaller dogs, and a home with cats is definitely not for him. This smart boy already has a lot going for him — he is house broken, kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has mastered the dog door. Dusty is looking for a family that will continue helping him thrive while giving him the love, attention, and adventures he deserves. If you're searching for a loyal, people-loving companion with a goofy side and a big heart, Dusty may just be your perfect match! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $350. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
