Description

Kizik (A141060) is an 8-month-old Husky x Rottweiler mix who weighed 51.3 pounds on intake! 07/01/26 This wild child is Kizik! Kizik arrived back at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home! Since he was brought in as a stray, we do not have behavioral information in a home setting. While at the shelter, we have found that Kizik can be uncertain in new environments/rooms but warms up with positive reassurance. Kizik has had frequent accidents in his kennel while at the shelter, so it is likely that he is not fully housebroken and will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, and basic commands. We encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class to continue working on his manners and help build his confidence. We do not know if Kizik has experience with children or other animals. Ensuring slow, safe, and controlled introductions are made is important in helping set Kizik up for success! Kizik is looking for a patient owner who can help him continue to grow into the best version of himself. If you are interested in meeting Kizik, please let us know! 02/03/26 These adorable pups were surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding their new places to call home! Their mom was stated to be a Rottweiler x Lab mix, and their dad was unknown (however, we suspect that their dad is a Husky x GSD mix). Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time to devote to them. They have been working on kennel training but will need continued help with all of their training – kennel training, potty training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They were described as very friendly puppies who have done well with people of all ages. They were also said to be playful with other dogs and to do well with the cat in the home. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends. These pups were known to chew, and are teething, so providing them with appropriate toys, so they do not chew on you, is important! Frozen kongs can be a great tool! If you are interested in meeting any of these rambunctious pups, please let us know!
