Description

JULIET NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Juliet         Best Guess for Breed:   Lab and husky mix    Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of June 2026       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:  30 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Puerto Rico shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.   Special adoption considerations:   Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Juliet is Looking For:  If you think this pup is calling "Romeo! Romeo, wherefore are thou?!" - you are way off base. This young sato - a dog from Puerto Rico - couldn't possibly care less about Veronese drama. She's just eager to get her own humans in the DC area for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration! Making pup pals along the way would be great, and she'd like to go to dog school, too, so she can show how super smart she is.    Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see Juliet by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once she has spent time in foster care.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
