This handsome 5-year-old Maine Coon mix is a gorgeous black-and-white gentleman with striking green eyes and an even bigger personality. Beef is the definition of a Velcro cat. His favorite place in the world is curled up in your lap, soaking up attention from his favorite humans. Curious by nature, he'll happily follow you from room to room to see what you're doing and make sure he's included in all the daily activities. If you're looking for a constant companion, Beef is your guy. Like many cats, Beef has gone through some life changes that have shaken his confidence. After moving into a busier home with multiple cats, he became increasingly stressed and territorial. We believe Beef is simply asking for a quieter environment where he doesn't have to compete for space or worry about all the activity around him. Because of this, Beef is looking for a calm, adult home where he can be the center of attention or possibly live with one very easygoing feline companion after a slow, careful introduction. He would not do well in a busy, chaotic household. Beef is affectionate, outgoing, and incredibly devoted to his people. He can become overstimulated if pushed past his comfort level, so he'll do best with an experienced cat owner who understands feline body language and respects when he's had enough. He has had one bite incident after being startled by a loud noise, which appears to have been a fear response rather than aggression.
