My name is Dolly Parton named after the famous country singer.  I came to DDRTX from a hoarding situation with a group called "The Country Music Stars".  Dolly Parton is guessed to be 5 years old and is 14 pounds. Dolly is VERY affectionate, friendly, and wants attention!  Tail wags and even jumps up to get into your lap for petting and kisses!  This sweet girl will be a quick easy placement in any home that can give her the love and attention she craves!   She needs a bit of guidance since her absolute exuberance and happiness can cause her to unintentionally jump up or over other pets in the house.  She’s learning the doggie door wonderfully.  Whomever adopts this beautiful lady, will be adopting a happy and fun little piebald shorthaired girl with a great personality!    Dolly has finished with her mange treatments.  She has had all her vet work done and is spayed.  She did test positive for heartworm but due to her immune system being compromised, we decided it is safer to do the slow kill method for the heartworm. She is available for adoption to the right home under our heartworm adoption contract.  If you are interested in her, we will explain more at that time.
