Hatch Date: UnknownNikki is a beautiful full feathered DNA confirmed Female Hahn's Macaw.Also known as a Nobel or a Red-Shouldered Macaw.She is very sweet and just needs some time to warm up to a new person.She does not have much mussel strenght at the moment, so she does not fly very far, but her wings are not clipped.Eating primarily seed, but we are working on changing that up a bit.Very vocal, clearly saying some words, and loves to make clicking noises, as well as whistling a bit with foster mom.She came to us with not much information, unfortunately.No age, no name, needing a new cage.She has been seen at an Avian Vet, with a full blood workup.She has also been disease tested for PBFD and Chlamydia She is being fostered in Leonardo, NJ  We do not ship our birds For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA.
