This young girl was rescued from a difficult life on the city streets, and although she’s finally safe, it’s clear that her past left her unsure of the kindness she so deserves.   Fifa quietly approaches people because she longs for affection. She wants so badly to be petted, yet when a hand reaches toward her, she instinctively ducks her head, as though she expects something frightening instead of something gentle.
